What to expect
Our one-on-one cycling sessions are tailored to you. Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to boost your skills, or an experienced cyclist seeking new routes, our friendly instructors are here to help.
If you’re aged 18+ and live, work or study in Bristol you can claim up to 3 hours of sessions, free of charge.
Our sessions
We offer two types of sessions. Choose your session depending on your experience and goals. Not sure which to pick? Get in touch and we can advise you.
Adult Cycle Lesson
Our one-to-one sessions are tailored to your abilities and goals; you can discuss where you’re at with your instructor and they’ll suggest what to work on together. You can book up to 3 sessions. We can help with:
- Learning to cycle for complete beginners.
- Building confidence for those returning to cycling.
- General cycling skills, such as road positioning and managing junctions.
Accompanied Rides
Our one-to-one guided rides are perfect for anyone exploring new cycling routes. Whether you're new to the city and looking for the quickest route to work, or prefer a quieter path to the places you visit regularly, we can help you find the ideal route.
You can book one free session that will last up to two hours, depending on your route, including time for route planning. These rides are best suited for intermediate to advanced cyclists.

Further information
Our instructors
Our friendly instructors are qualified to teach people to the National Standard for Cycling, as defined by the Department of Transport. All our instructors:
- Are DBS checked.
- Hold a First Aid qualification.
- Have extensive knowledge of cycling in your local area.
Women-only lessons
We offer all women the opportunity to request a female instructor. This offer is open to cis, trans and non-binary people who would feel more comfortable with a female instructor.
