What’s it all about?
A great way for young people to blow off steam, learn new skills and experience the fun of cycling. We welcome ages 8 – 14 at our free, drop-in sessions. Find us every week at local adventure playgrounds, offering cycling and bike maintenance activities.
Opening hours
Drop in every week at the following locations:
- Felix Road Adventure Playground: Mondays, 3.30 - 5.30 pm.
- Lockleaze Adventure Playground (the Vench): Tuesdays, 3.30 - 5.30 pm.
- Southmead Adventure Playground (the Ranch): Wednesdays, 3.30 - 5.30 pm.

Drop-in activities
We’ll usually be doing one of the following:
- Bike Mechanics: learn basic bike maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly.
- Cycle Skills: cruise on a balance bike, master pedalling or boost your skills with cycling games.
Booking-only activities
We offer free cycling courses, activities and led rides in school holidays at Southmead, Lockleaze and Felix Road Adventure Playgrounds. Activities are promoted via the Adventure Playgrounds' and our own social media.
Access to bikes
We have a selection of bikes that young people can use during our sessions. Your child is welcome to bring their own bike too. We’re usually able to do basic bike maintenance and safety checks on your child’s bike during the session.
