As a Bikeability Cycling Instructor, you’ll be an inspirational mentor to children ages 8 to 11. Supported by a friendly team primarily in Swindon, you’ll engage pupils in a series of skill-building activities in the playground, before progressing to cycling on the road.

A key part of the role will be to oversee the health and safety of the class. You’ll create a safe learning environment where each child is supported and encouraged to pedal independently.

We deliver lessons in term time throughout the year, whatever the weather unless it’s extreme. So it’s important you enjoy staying active and working outdoors. In this rewarding role, you’ll enable young people of all backgrounds to build self-awareness, and confidence - and broaden their horizons with a lifelong skill.

If you don’t meet every requirement but are excited about the role, we’d still love to hear from you. We can provide support to help you address any skills gaps. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact Frances McMillan on 0117 353 4580 for an informal chat.
